blgmdybrn (oder so) recap

wie jeden ersten montag im mai (oder so) trafen sich einige internetpsychopathen [1] zum gemeinsam bier- und eistee-trinken. diesmal aus bahnhofsumbauteschnischen gründen im schönen restaurant rosengarten, mit wundervoller aussicht auf die altstadt von bern, laut roman ca. 5km vom bärengraben weg.
diesmal wurde unsere gruppe mit ein paar menschen aus anderen regionen verstärkt, roger und roman kamen von weiter weg, beat ist immerhin über den röstigraben gekommen.

am tisch sassen heute abend roger, chm, christian, rouge, matthias, kus, beat, this, küsu, meine wenigkeit und roman.

vollständige berichterstattung wohl bald bei roman, so wie der notizen gemacht hat, ein nettes filmli/podcast wohl bald mal auf kulturTV.ch, ein foto gibts als appetizer schon mal hier bei chigu.

besprochen wurde vieles, unter anderem auch, dass crocs immer auf der sohle landen, dass ich mal wieder rasierem muss (dazu später evtl. mehr), die langsamen bauarbeiten in und um bern, gps-daten beim fliegen, nike+ als motivator, gestohlene velos, liips aufruf [2], sexy frauenbloggerinnen, blog/podcastfriedhöfe, websites mit umlauten, moleskines, internet-memes, bluetoothtastaturen und sicher sonst noch was, das ich hier vergessen habe. lustig und gemütlich war’s auf alle fälle. nächstes mal ist am 2. juli, wo, das schauen wir dann noch.

das magazin als wiki

Dasmagazindas tagi magazin hat neuerdings einen überarbeiteten webauftritt. das ganze:

ist als Wiki, das heisst als Kollaborationsplattform angelegt.

dies soll helfen, bessere beiträge zu publizieren, indem der onlineauftritt eine schnittstelle zwischen lesenden und schreibenden sein soll. momentan noch eine kleine baustelle, aber auf alle fälle ein sehr spannender ansatz. mich nimmts wunder, ob da einfach das lektorat an das wiki-publikum ausgelagert werden soll oder ob wirklich eine diskussionsplattform entsteht. oder entseht da ein neues citizen journalism-heft und die ganze redaktion widmet sich nur noch der pflege der wiki-einträge? auf jeden fall eine spannende angelegenheit, die es zu beobachten gilt, auch wenn noch wenig leser gleichzeitig online sind (man beachte beiliegendes bild :-)

was freude macht: schon heute stehen die artikel online zur verfügung, welche ich erst am samstag im briefkasten haben werde. und endlich hat sich das magazin ein brauchbares archiv gegönnt.

ach und übrigens: michèle roten hat zwar eine flotte schreibe, ist aber im interview nur knapp zu ertragen, egal was mensch in sie hineininterpretieren möchte..

Galerie/Artspace MILIEU

Milieu Openingnicola (sowie remy und die beiden jungs von yuhzimi) gibt gas, nachdem die stühle online sind, wird nun eine galerie eröffnet!
morgen abend ist die vernissage der eröffnungsausstellung mit den künstlern von big active, die unter anderem das plattencover von beck’s letzter cd designt haben. morgen abend ab 18 uhr, c u there!

gp bern II [update]

also schlussendlich hab’ ichs in 1:12.03 geschafft.
und nun nehm ich mir fest vor, nächstes jahr mehr als 2 mal joggen zu gehen vor dem GP!
ps: nimmt mich wunder, wie’s christian gelaufen ist.

update: christian hat den lauf erfolgreich beendet, gratuliere! und ich bin das ding eindeutig zu schnell angegangen, wenn mensch meine zwischenzeiten anguckt: nach 5 kilometer noch unter 4min/km und ab dann schon ziemlich drüber. für nächstes jahr brauche ich glaubich auch so ein lauf-unterstützendes gadget…

gp bern

vielleicht wird das ja doch noch was mit dem gp nächste woche: nachdem ich letzten samstag mein “training” wegen knieschmerzen auf halber strecke [1] abbrechen musste, hab ich heute immerhin fast 12 km ohne grössere beschwerden hinter mich gebracht. ich werd wohl meiner startnummer und bestzeit nicht gerecht (ich starte im ersten block, habe aber das training dieses jahr sträflich vernachlässigt, ich war 3 mal joggen…), aber werde immerhin mal versuchen zu starten…

gadgets for sale

i’m cleaning my closets and found some stuff, just waiting to be released back into the economy. i’m trying to sell the stuff on ricardo, so if you fancy some new techno-gear, go and have a look here.
i really can recommend the newton, a fine piece of machinery, but it’s just been collecting dust in my room, so i part with it. if you want something, and don’t want to bid on ricardo, send me a note, i’m shure we can work something out…

picture of the week 15 – university ultimate tournament 2007

as you’ve maybe already seen in my flick-stream, i’ve been playing frisbee over the past weekend. we’ve made a team from unisport bern [1] to compete against other in the first university ultimate tournament in bruxelles, belgium. it was a blast, the weather was marvellous, although a tad too hot, the other teams were competitive and we had great games. unfortunately i had to leave a bit earlier, so i was not able to play the finals (and that’s why bern lost the final i think :-) and had quite a hard time until i got home, since the train broke down about half an hour after departure from bruxelles, so it took me a night in the ICE to get back home to switzerland, but the whole weekend was worth it.

filewile – nassau massage

Filewile-Nassau-Massageandi and dänu aka filewile released their second album called nassau massage (press release in english or german).
technically they release it in about a month, on the 25.5., but if you want to listen to it (like i’ve done recently), you can already preorder it on their website, and expect a fast delivery. maybe not so fast as i did, ’cause i preordered the album on tuesday night, and andi dropped it in my mailbox on wednesday morning, together with the EP damn, to be released in a week :-)

so far, i really like the album a lot, all the songs are well groovy, some of them even have some radio-potential (as far as i can tell)… many songs feature great vocal artists like nicolette, mr. melody, rider shafique and also hometown hottie baze. if you get the cd, i recommend listening to watch the vibe with mr. shafique (am i right, andi?) and communication, with a great old-school beat. and if you first want to listen to some other filewile-songs, you can download a bunch of them absolutely free here. oh, and if you’re hanging out on myspace, you can add them as a friend, too. and if you want to buy some songs, they can be found in the itunes music store.
