the IT crowd ist zurück – oder TV on demand

nachdem ich mich die letzten monate mit der big bang theory beschäftigt habe, kommt ein lang ersehntes stück fernsehen wieder zurück. the it crowd geht in die dritte season. hoffentlich schaffen’s die macher dieser bisher unglaublich lustigen serie, in mich in einer weiteren staffel zu beschäftigen!

ah, und dieser eintrag könnte auch einer werden über TV-konsum on demand, mit hilfe moderner internetz-methoden, aber mit hilfe von diesem und diesem link kann sich das jeder selbst ausmalen.

kleiner tipp: link 2 mit programm aus link 1 verwenden, dann ist das fernsehen on demand, mit allen möglichen serien. damit’s jetzt nicht heisst, ich verleite hier zu evtl. illegalem tun, sei hier auch noch der hinweis auf das exzellente verzeichnis miroguide.com plaziert, in dem sich ausschliesslich legale inhalte präsentieren.

stefan sagmeister on design and happiness [video]

the tedtalks are always inspriring and a great watch, (as i’vee said before…), but this one from stefan sagmeister has some more to it.

in his 15-minutes-talk he reveals a lot of stuff that makes him happy, culminating in some points that make him more happy than before.
seems that there are some very good points in this list.
i’ll try to stick to those for a moment, the points seem noteworthy!

– Complaining is silly. Either act or forget.
– Thinking life will be better in the future is stupid. I have to live now.
– Being not truthful works against me.
– Helping other people helps me.
– Organizing a charity group is surprisingly easy.
– Everything I do always comes back to me.
– Drugs feel great in the beginning and become a drag later on.
– Over time I get used to everything and start taking if for granted.
– Money does not make me happy.
– Traveling alone is helpful for a new perspective on life.
– Assuming is stifling.
– Keeping a diary supports my personal development.

möchte-gern-nationalrat thomas fuchs hat ja eine wunderschön proppere wahlkampfplattform auf fuchs.tv, auf der mit netter musik untermalte filme über fuchsns ambitionen und pläne gezeigt werden. ist ja ganz nett, aber das hier ist ziemlich viel lustiger: ein remix des videos von thommy f. dem grössten hustlah von bern, gemacht von dic-zh

ist vor allem richtig lustig, wenn mann sich vorher das original-filmli von herrn fuchs antut.

gadgets for sale

i’m cleaning my closets and found some stuff, just waiting to be released back into the economy. i’m trying to sell the stuff on ricardo, so if you fancy some new techno-gear, go and have a look here.
i really can recommend the newton, a fine piece of machinery, but it’s just been collecting dust in my room, so i part with it. if you want something, and don’t want to bid on ricardo, send me a note, i’m shure we can work something out…

(oh, and don’t believe the descriptions, some of them are a bit marketing-babblish…)

BLGMDYBRN recap

wiederum haben sich ein paar der berner alphageeks getroffen, und einer hat mit seinen wlan gadgets abgeräumt. leu, der preis für den gadgetigsten blogger geht an dich. mal schauen, was wir anderen bis zum nächsten mal auftreiben können.
dabei waren (wieder mal nur typen, und von mir aus gesehen nach rechts): rouge (darf der überhaupt noch an bloggertreffen kommen?), this (auf der suche nach einem tastentester), leu (der gadget-mann), christian (der sein monatliches blogpensum letzten sonntag abgehakt hat..), reto (dessen feed neu in meinem reader aufgenommen wird) und meine wenigkeit.

auf ein nächstes mal! wollen wir das wirklich am ersten tag im neuen jahr machen?
