pix-mix is back!

keine idee, wie ich darüber gestolpert bin, aber eine erwähnung ist das auf alle fälle wert: pix-mix is back!

ich hab’ ja am pix-mix auch schon bilder gezeigt und jedes mal, als ich dort war, einen lustigen abend mit interessanten (oder wenigstens extrem speziellen) menschen verbracht. einmal hat der abend, an dem 20 menschen während jeweils 20 sekunden 20 bilder zeigen schon mal im februar. damit die kommenden male mehr aufmerksamkeit bekommen, habe ich die restlichen male auf upcoming.org eingetragen.

wanderung gemmi – kandersteg [with map]

dieses wochenende bin ich am samstag bei wolkenverhangenem himmel von kandersteg auf die gemmi gewandert und am sonntag bei wunderschönem wetter wieder retour. am samstag hat das wintec-kästli probleme gemacht, deshalb habe ich nur am sonntag aufgenommen, wo wir durch-geschneeschuht sind. den aufgenommenen track findet ihr unten, die dazugehörigen fotos im flickr-set wanderung kandersteg – gemmipass [1], dank gps-track natürlich auch mit korrekter lokalisation der fotos auf der karte.

jan linked to it ages ago, yesterday evening i finally found the time to watch the “documentary about the current state of copyright and culture”, quite a good movie where dj danger mouse, lawrence lessig and many more are interviewed. the movie sheds light on different ways of putting a copyright on movies/music and the like and is definitely worth your time. watch the full movie (59′) below (hat tip to blip.tv) or download it via bittorent here…

instead of skiing [with map]

actually i wanted to go skiing today, because the weather was so fine. but due to not finding anybody to join me i went for a bike-ride with bruni instead [1].

1202572055-10871-P-84.75.172.133.png nearly 60 km (59.94 km) around the belp-berg, from bern to thun and back. a moving average speed of 29 km/h and a max. speed of 56.67 km/h. the speed-profile can be seen in the in the image on the right: we had to stop to make a phone-call shortly after the start and then had to find our way through the very dense traffic in thun just before km 30. a short stop in münsingen around km 47 prepared us for the final stage back to bern. a nice saturday afternoon, thanks bruni!

[1] he has to be somewhere just about now, so skiing would not have fit his schedule…
