timelapse: sunrise @ mount bromo
ich bin wieder da, schön wars, mindestens so schön wie dieser sonnenaufgang auf dem aussichtspunkt zum bromo, den ich aufgenommen habe.
25 minuten sonnenaufgang komprimiert in 30 sekunden. da ich mit der grossen kamera am fotografieren war, habe ich einfach ein film aufgenommen und jedes 50. bild daraus für dieses timelapse verwendet. wenn nicht irgend so ein dahergelaufener japaner meine sauber positionierte kamera hätte klauen wollen, wäre auch der sonnenaufgang drauf, so sieht man halt nur, wie es hell wird.
der rest der heimgenommenen videos und fotos wird nach und nach an den altbekannten stellen erscheinen.

20min vs. close-up!
manchmal komm ich aus langeweile dazu, ins 20Minuten zu blicken. heute ist mir dabei etwas lustiges aufgefallen: das kleine interview mit jessica alba zum filmstart von “fantastic four: the rise of the silver surfer” kam mir seltsam bekannt vor, fast so, als hätt’ ich das schon mal gelesen…
nach kurzem überlegen, konnte ich mich erinnern, das das interview letzthin im close-up! erschienen ist. auf den artikel kann nicht direkt gelinkt werden, aber im pdf der entsprechenden ausgabe (5.68 MB) kann auf seite 23 nachgelesen werden, dass die beiden interviews sich nur marginal unterscheiden.
die frage ist jetzt: hatt Mohan Mani, der Autor des Interviews im 20Minuten und scheffredaktor von close-up! beide interviews geführt, oder geht das als cross-posting in zwei medien-gefässen durch?

movie of the week 12
i spent the weekend in london with nina (just like other people did…) and didn’t have time to sort through all the pictures i took. can you remember the times when you took something like ten pictures on a whole weekend? ah, the good old analog times. but nonetheless i got a kick out of that little movie i quickly hacked together in imovie. it’s the tower bridge (not the london bridge!) opening for a ship to go through, with a little squeaky door effect i added. and if you recognize the song from which i took the opening riff, i’ll pay you a beer, the next time we meet! (tip: the song title contains london…)
